Plumbing Foreman
Andersen Commercial Plumbing, recognized as Southern California’s Top Service Commercial Companies, is currently seeking a Plumbing Foreman.
The Foreman is responsible for assisting supervisory staff (Foreman and Leads) with all work activities during the repair and installation of water, gas, sewer lines, drains, and general plumbing equipment, in industrial or commercial plumbing and peripheral systems.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- The working foreman is responsible for all work activities and supervision of a group of construction plumbers within a given geographical area.
- Works with, supervises, oversees and directs the activities of journeyman and apprentices with all activities during all routine work projects: Ensures compliance with all customer requirements, building & local plumbing codes and ordinances; or other contract requirements.
- Ensures customer satisfaction with all work completed including all repairs of water, gas, sewer lines, drains and general plumbing equipment, in industrial or commercial plumbing systems and peripheral systems.
- Typical duties include, but are not limited to installing, repairing and maintaining pipes, fixtures and other plumbing used for water distribution and waste water disposal in and for commercial and industrial projects.
- Foreman will also perform the daily general activities of basic to complex project management.
- Works constantly under the company policies and guidelines which will include the completion of tasks individually, as instructed, or with the coordination of other professional service personnel (electricians, carpenters, etc.) when needed.
- Provides leadership that results in a safe work culture.
- Knowing, understanding, communicating and ensuring compliance with OSHA, and company safety policies and procedures.
- Helps with the task needs during all activities of the project; during and after business hours.
- May assist with loading/unloading equipment on/off company vehicles.
- At job termination, ensures the proper clean-up and disposal of material or other waste items is completed on a timely basis.
- Completes any documentation during and after the project completion.
Skills/Qualifications:
- 7+ years of Commercial Plumbing experience.
- 2 years of Foreman experience preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License required.
- Must be able to read, interpret, and apply complex blueprint knowledge and general maintenance experience.
- Must have problem solving skills and abilities, leadership and customer service background.
- Ability to handle physical workload (ability to lift 75 lbs)

Compliance Requirements
- Must be willing to submit to a background check and drug test prior to employment.
- Must be willing to submit to an MVR report – Valid Driver’s License, No DUIs or more than 2 points on a driving record is our baseline standard.
